Crosslake Fibre is building fiber from a data center in Toronto, ON to a data center in Buffalo, NY. The fiber will be Subsea in Lake Ontario and land on the southern shore in Wilson, NY. Construction-CAD Solutions (CCS) worked on the terrestrial outside plant engineering. Within the project, the route utilized State, County, local, Railway and power transmission right of ways.

- Complete the project in time to align the terrestrial build with the subsea build to activate the point to point fiber network.
CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS
THE CUSTOMER
Prior to engineering the routes, CCS coordinated meetings with each of the right of way owners to determine acceptable paths. This enabled CCS to produce accurate drawing sets to be submitted for approval with an accelerated review time. Weekly project meetings enabled CCS to align schedules with the subsea construction to deliver an on-time product.
